Terms & Conditions

Under UK Law, goods sold remain the property of house of homebrew until paid for in full.

Parcels are collected by midday for delivery the next working day (Monday - Friday). If we receive an order after that time or on a weekend or bank holiday, the parcel will be sent the following working day.

We try to keep all items on the website fully in stock. However, there are times when items become unavailable through circumstances outside our control. If this occurs, we notify you by email of an expected delivery date or offer a suitable alternative.

We thoroughly check all items before despatch. In the very unlikely event of an item being damaged in transit, you must notify us with 24 hours of receiving the goods, giving precise details of the damage, otherwise claims for damages may not be upheld. We will arrange for the damaged goods to be collected by the carrier and they will be replaced free of charge.

If you find any of the items of your order missing, please contact us within 24 hours for us to take the necessary action.

If you decide that you placed the order in error, the items ordered may be returned to us at your expense within 10 days of receiving the goods. We will refund the cost of the goods only. You should use a secure service for any returns. We accept no liability for loss or damage during any return transit.

  • Small lightweight items are generally sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post
  • Heavier parcels are sent by carrier on a "Next Day service"
  • A signature will be required when the goods are delivered as proof of delivery
  • For security reasons, goods cannot be left without a signature

Please ensure that you provide the FULL delivery address. An incomplete address will delay the order processing, needing us to contact you for the full details.

If no one is in to receive the goods, they will either be returned to your local Royal Mail depot (depending upon delivery method). The driver should leave a card to say that when they attempted delivery no one was in and to contact the depot to rearrange a new delivery or to collect in person. It is your responsibility to do this. If you do not contact the depot, the goods will be returned back to us and you will be charged for another delivery attempt. Please contact the carrier as soon as possible as goods are held normally for only 1 week. Royal Mail will keep parcels for 2 weeks before returning them.
